Working with me
One of the questions I get asked often is: “What does working with you look like?”
And honestly, I love this question.
Because finding the right Homeopath is a little like finding the right therapist, coach, or practitioner — the connection matters. A lot.
What kind of Homeopath am I?
I consider myself to be a Modern-Classical Homeopath.
Classical Homeopathy focuses on a main (constitutional) remedy chosen to match the overall pattern of symptoms a person is experiencing. Often the remedy is given in just a few doses, followed by a period of observation and support as the body responds. I love this approach because it aims to address the deeper underlying imbalance in the system, rather than simply chasing individual symptoms.
A Modern Homeopath is open to and considers all other support remedies to assist the body and the constitutional remedy. What does this look like? I use supportive remedies depending on the needs of my client. For example, tissue salts for improved mineral absorption, bowel nosodes to improve gut function, and organ support remedies/sarcodes (remedies from hormones/secretions or organs) to help organs balance themselves. These various remedies are taken alongside the main (constitutional) remedy. The goal is to gently support the body from multiple angles, depending on what each individual person needs.
Lifestyle Factors
Additionally, depending on where my client is at (I never want clients to feel overwhelmed with too many changes at once), I look at various lifestyle factors as these are essential in overall health and wellbeing:
Nutrition - not in a restrictive/obsessive way, but by looking at how food supports energy, hormones, blood sugar stability, and overall resilience
Exercise - I look at including movement and exercise in a supportive, sustainable way — including strength training, walking, gentle movement, and overall activity levels — while considering energy, stress levels, and for women, how exercise may best support different phases of the cycle.
Mindset - it’s often about learning to prioritize ourselves again, make informed choices, and recognize that we are worth the time and effort health requires. Especially in perimenopause, I often see women realizing how much of themselves they’ve put on the back burner for years. This stage of life can become an invitation to look inward — what needs have gone unmet? What patterns or wounds are ready to heal?
Toxic load - I consider the impact of environmental stressors on the body and hormones — things like fragrances, dyes, household products, EMFs, and other everyday exposures that can quietly add to the body’s overall load.
What the process looks like
We begin with a Discovery Call where we talk about your main concerns, how you want to feel, and whether we’re a good fit to work together. I’ll also explain how Homeopathy may be able to support you and answer any questions you have.
Before your initial appointment, I’ll send you an intake form covering your health history and current symptoms. This gives me a broad overview so we can spend our appointment diving deeper into the details that make up your unique picture of health.
The initial appointment often takes about 2 hours. We sit down and really unpack the full picture — not just your diagnosis or lab work, but your energy, moods, sleep, stress patterns, sensitivities, cravings, cycles, and all the little details that make up you. Sometimes people are surprised by how detailed the appointments are!
After your appointment, I carefully review everything we discussed and select a constitutional remedy based on your overall symptom picture. Depending on your needs, I may also include supportive remedies to help support different systems in the body.
You’ll receive a clear, easy-to-follow Remedy Plan outlining your remedies, dosing instructions, and guidance on what to expect as your body responds.
I then mail the remedies to you, or direct you to where they can be purchased online. Between appointments, you’re welcome to email me with questions or brief updates as needed.
Follow-ups
About 4–6 weeks after your initial appointment, we meet for a follow-up to discuss any changes in your symptoms, energy, mood, sleep, and overall wellbeing. Based on how you’ve responded, we may continue the same remedy, adjust the potency or dosing, or change the remedy if your symptom picture has shifted.
Further follow-ups typically occur every 4–6 weeks.
Over time, many clients begin noticing meaningful shifts — better energy, improved mood, more resilience, better sleep, fewer symptoms, and often a greater sense of connection to themselves and their bodies.
